Denver Sharks Join CFL Championship Football League

Aurora, Colorado – The Championship Football League (CFL) is proud to announce the addition and partnership of one of the league’s newest team, the Denver Sharks.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of the Denver Sharks CFL,” stated CFL Commissioner – Damon Ware. "The Sharks bring a strong winning tradition to the CFL. While solidifying our geographic footprint, We look forward to the intense rivalries the Denver Sharks will bring to the CFL. We look forward to the 2021 season as we al have been away from football. We look forward to the competition.

The 2018 CFC Champions will compete as new members in the CFL’s 2021 season. The team will compete and play all their home games at the APS Stadium in Aurora, Colorado .

About the Denver Sharks!

The Denver sharks was established in 2017 and quickly became a powerhouse team in the Colorado Football Conference and went undefeated their first season and won the 2018 CFC Championship. In their 2019 season, The Denver Sharks made it back to the championship, only to fall short by a blocked field goal.

“The Sharks are coached by a Hall of Fame Coach Shannon Sandman Richardson. who has 8 championship rings and is one of the former building coaching members of the Colorado Greyhawks,”said Denver Sharks Owner, Toshi Richardson. ABOUT THE CFL
